RE:GENERATION || New documentary film mixing new and old

New documentary film is putting 5 DJs/Producers with older artists from various genres with the aim of making new music. Skrillex has been paired with the remaining members of the doors, Nas is working with Berklee School of Music Orchestra plus Mark Ronson, Crystal Method and more. Read a post from Rolling Stone HERE for more information and check out the video preview below.

Porter Robinson - Spitfire

Another wicked release on OWSLA. Spitfire by Porter Robinson features 6 original tracks and 5 remixes bringing in the likes of Skism and Kill The Noise to name a couple.

Check out some of the tracks below and head over to Beatport to grab a copy for yourself.

Zedd - Shave It

New single from the German electro artists 'Zedd'. Shave it features some fidget style house rhythms pushing the drums forward with Zedd's 'honky' mid synths providing the hooks. Watch out for the cheeky synth licks that never quite give you enough ... which always make me come back to the track for more.

It's out now and exclusive to Beatport so click HERE to head there and get a copy. Check out the video teaser from OWSLA (Skrillex's label) below.
