Mord Fustang - Taito

Out today is the new track 'Taito' by Mord Fustang. It's what you'd expect with plenty of melodic hooks and driving electro to push it all forward. After not hearing anything for a while from him it's refreshing to get a new tune with all his signature style.

Sander Van Doorn & Julian Jordan - Kangaroo (Original Mix)

So the title grabbed my attention straight away given I am from Australia. Gave it a listen - and boy did I have a good time! Love this - it's a "banger". Definitely can see this becoming big in our underground, electronica based clubs.

Give it a listen and a download if you love it!

Our world is here - Steve Lade & Xpectiv (Hyspter feat Clover Ray Vocal Remix)

It's not new but I LOVE LOVE LOVE what Hypster has done with this already upbeat track. The vocals in this track and the little twists of difference Hypster puts into it really enhance it to make it BETTER than the original in my opinion.

Really makes you feel happy and it doesn't sound the same as everything else which is refreshing!

Seemingly not a common track on youtube - really hard to find the full length vocal remix. I purchased it from Beatport here

Baauer - Harlem Shake

Oh my god. I just lost my mind. Listen to it and be transformed into a wild dancing machine! I've never really used the word swag to describe anything but... SWAGGGGG. This track has been supported by the likes of Diplo and Rustie. Big things to come I would say!

Gum me - Sweaty Shirts

This track is one of the only tracks that stands out to me on the Beatport Progressive House charts at the moment. I don't really know how 'Progressive' this track is, but It reminds me of an Eric Prydz track from a few years back. ( I may or may not be shot for writing that but hey!). Big thumbs up for this track.  Check it out on Beatport here.

Really simple but effective - not too overdone. It's really something that is standing out right now, especially because it's one of the only tracks on Beatport that doesn't sound like a replica of everything else.

Controls - Forever Techno (Vengeance Remix)

Vengeance is another great example of the fresh talent coming through in the world of EDM. He is a young DJ/Producer residing in Sydney, holding residency at one of Sydney's most popular nightclubs.

His live sets are always comprised of a nice variety of genres that are all mixed in seamlessly together, creating a pumping atmosphere every time.

This particular track was released by label VAMP music and is currently featured on Beatport's Top 100 Electro House charts.

This track is definitely a banger - set to get you moving!  Listening to this track may create the urge to fist pump - you have been warned!

Darkness Falls - The Void

Just stumbled across 'Darkness Falls' (I'm probably later than everyone else finding them) their single 'The Void' is awesome. With a great video that truly matches the music with foggy and deserted scenes matched perfectly with the tones in the music.

They were discovered by Trentemoller too, which is surely a good enough filter for everyone!

Check the single below and like I am - head to Beatport and grab the album HERE.

Noisia - Could This Be || OUT NOW on Mau5trap

As you'd expect, stupidly good, super produced drum and bass!

Noisia mix up some half time hip hop styled drums over melodic elements before dropping that lurching filth that is the Noisia DnB groove. Reading the press release up on Beatport Noisia said -

'Feed Me described it as the emo younger brother of Shellshock, I think thats a great characterization. Were really proud of the balance of melodical and harmonic content on one hand and dancefloor-energy on the other hand weve struck in this track. I have a feeling that this track is an indication of where were going to go.' - Noisia

New David Guetta album ... not all pop collaborations and cheese?

A review of the new David Guetta album 'Nothing But The Beat' appeared in Future Music Magazine and although the first CD didn't get much of a look (all the pop collaborations he's churning out are on there) the second CD got good reviews. So .... I've checked some out and after reading 'french electro' and 'daft punk style formant filtering' I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest I haven't listened to it all yet but check out the track below for some crunched up acid synths!

Head over to iTunes or Beatport to grab your copy of the album.

Once you've checked it out be sure to leave a comment with your thoughts, we'd love to hear what you think of the tracks.

Kaskade & Skrillex - Lick It

Don't need to say how big this is gonna be. Obviously lots of haters out there but this disco infused electro is a banger! The track is taken from the new Kaskade album 'Fire & Ice', which also features Inpetto & Dada Life. You can get the track from iTunes by clicking HERE

Porter Robinson - Spitfire

Another wicked release on OWSLA. Spitfire by Porter Robinson features 6 original tracks and 5 remixes bringing in the likes of Skism and Kill The Noise to name a couple.

Check out some of the tracks below and head over to Beatport to grab a copy for yourself.

Zedd - Shave It

New single from the German electro artists 'Zedd'. Shave it features some fidget style house rhythms pushing the drums forward with Zedd's 'honky' mid synths providing the hooks. Watch out for the cheeky synth licks that never quite give you enough ... which always make me come back to the track for more.

It's out now and exclusive to Beatport so click HERE to head there and get a copy. Check out the video teaser from OWSLA (Skrillex's label) below.

Artists feature - KANEDUBSTEP

Making some serious waves with a massive amount of new remixes for a range of artists KANEDUBSTEP is proving himself to be a cut above the rest in the world of Dubstep. Reigning in influences from classical music, metal and all out industrial filth he is definitely not one to be missed.

Don't just take my word for it with growing support from Broken Note hammering his remix of Kablam (originally by DivKid) on his tour and Radio One's Zane Lowe commenting on him as 'Attention Deficit Dubstep' he's definitely catching the attention of the big names too.

Check out some of his tracks below ...

Remixes

Chase & Status - Time (KANEDUBSTEP Remix)

Turboweekend - Drum In The Dark (KANEDUBSTEP Remix)

DivKid - Mumbai (KANEDUBSTEP Remix)
