New David Guetta album ... not all pop collaborations and cheese?

A review of the new David Guetta album 'Nothing But The Beat' appeared in Future Music Magazine and although the first CD didn't get much of a look (all the pop collaborations he's churning out are on there) the second CD got good reviews. So .... I've checked some out and after reading 'french electro' and 'daft punk style formant filtering' I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest I haven't listened to it all yet but check out the track below for some crunched up acid synths!

Head over to iTunes or Beatport to grab your copy of the album.

Once you've checked it out be sure to leave a comment with your thoughts, we'd love to hear what you think of the tracks.

Kaskade & Skrillex - Lick It

Don't need to say how big this is gonna be. Obviously lots of haters out there but this disco infused electro is a banger! The track is taken from the new Kaskade album 'Fire & Ice', which also features Inpetto & Dada Life. You can get the track from iTunes by clicking HERE

Charles Cutlas - Sausage Fest (CC Brostep Edit)

Bit of brostep (drumstep) from Charles Cutlass with his edit of his own track 'Sausage Fest' got a filthy party vibe ... check it out below.

ARTIST FEATURE || Bam Spacey

Bam Spacey got in touch to let us know about his tracks ... so as usual we checked them out and found some nice spacious deep house, slomo and dubby electronica. Here's a few pics from his soundcloud page that we took a shine to.

Dirty Noize - Lose Your Head (Jamie D Remix)

Another track that came through email (we do read and respond to promos so feel free to send anything across) ... This time it's a remix from Jamie D, it was for a competition which it looks like he's won as this will be released soon. Check it out.

Sprado sent us this through email. Some nice dark techno mixed into more old school sounding house. Good background mix to work to (that's what I'm doing anyway). FREE DOWNLOAD HERE

RE:GENERATION || New documentary film mixing new and old

New documentary film is putting 5 DJs/Producers with older artists from various genres with the aim of making new music. Skrillex has been paired with the remaining members of the doors, Nas is working with Berklee School of Music Orchestra plus Mark Ronson, Crystal Method and more. Read a post from Rolling Stone HERE for more information and check out the video preview below.

Porter Robinson - Spitfire

Another wicked release on OWSLA. Spitfire by Porter Robinson features 6 original tracks and 5 remixes bringing in the likes of Skism and Kill The Noise to name a couple.

Check out some of the tracks below and head over to Beatport to grab a copy for yourself.

Zedd - Shave It

New single from the German electro artists 'Zedd'. Shave it features some fidget style house rhythms pushing the drums forward with Zedd's 'honky' mid synths providing the hooks. Watch out for the cheeky synth licks that never quite give you enough ... which always make me come back to the track for more.

It's out now and exclusive to Beatport so click HERE to head there and get a copy. Check out the video teaser from OWSLA (Skrillex's label) below.
